Cant wait to see this movie about Richard Jewell, whose courage and quick action saved many lives that day in our lazy and corrupt FBI along with media anxious to spin a story ruined this years which have passed since 1996 have provided hundreds of exonerations of those wrongly convicted and imprisoned by the same mindset which targeted Richard Jewell. Sadly, many in our criminal justice system and media continue to make the same mistakes time after time after time... For those unaware, this is being released likely to tie in with a movie being released about these events and thus named after him: Richard Jewell. So exited! Rip. Yes, the FBI was always incompetent and corrupt. Both the FBI and CIA need to be completely dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up. My heart bleeds! She ruined this guy's life and he may have died prematurely as a result. He couldn't defend himself either! At least she doesn't have to endure the vilification.

Most journalists are slander who put false rumours just for the sake of money/fame. Shame. Clint Eastwood is back, and this time you won't be making his latest film into a punchline. Richard Jewell is a great true story of American injustice, and as a feature, it kicks some butt. A tragic story of a flawed, yet well-intentioned rent-a-cop who became a suspect of a bombing that he tried to stop from happening. It's engrossing, riveting and tense. More than what Eastwood has given us, at lease since Sully. Paul Walter Hauser practically is Richard Jewell. You couldn't have landed better casting if you tried. Kathy Bates and Sam Rockwell both bring it as well. My main problem with Jewell, however, is it's glaring embellishments. The characters of Kathy Scruggs (Olivia Wilde) and FBI Agent Todd Shaw are portrayed almost like a cartoon villains. If they could have cackled "mua ha ha" they would. It's too manipulative of the audience, and lazy.

All things considered, this was a pretty awesome Olympics. Best movie of 2019. Go see it.

I was there for that bombing it was the scariest day of my life. Balderdash. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution printed its reporters story in 1996 based upon illegally-leaked false information and is now crying the blues because their trash journalism has now been exposed. The paper continues to refuse to “own” its part in a travesty that ruined a decent mans life. Mrs Jewell was a very nice woman I met her through my dad.

The movie did a good job. I liked it. It was factual enough to make a good story that's interesting. Sam Rockwell was awesome in it. The beginning of fake news, even back then. Atlanta, home of the comical news network. I enjoyed this movie a lot! Yes there are some issues with writing in this film, they way this came to be the good guys vs the bad guys didn't appeal much to me and I have doubts about how much of this actually happened as it was portrayed in the movie. However, this was a solid story, superbly acted (acting by Hauser, Bates and Rockwell was the best aspect of the film) well-shot and well-made by Mr Eastwood. Le cas Richard Jewell Movie stream. During the movie I flashed back to the repeated government assaults on Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh. Clint Eastwood's portrayal was fair but with compassion added.
